Re: distributor to electronic ignition

Pertronix is a good unit, I have one on a 460 Ford and it works great. You may be able to find one of the Crane units too which has the bonus of having a built in rev limitor. I believe S and S has purchased most of Cranes inventory and will continue to make the electronics for motorcycles and cars.

Re: distributor to electronic ignition

Dave is still fighting a lung infection, still in the hospital. It seems to be rerally serioous, he almost died with this thing, whatever it is. He won't be back full strength for a couple more weeks yet.

Re: distributor to electronic ignition

I went with the Summit package and it has been great. The price was right too.
