RE: Late Ignition Timing

Hi.....I have one simple question regarding late ignition timing.....What are the engine running symptoms of late ignition timing on a small block chevy motor?.....In other words, how will the engine respond if the ignition timing were late?

Re: Late Ignition Timing

Popping through carb, temps will get hot very quickly water and especially exhaust manifolds/headers... also lots of stumbling when you try to rev.

Don't you have a timing light or at least tabs with a balancer that has a line in it? Put a light on it and you will find out very quickly what is going on.

The only Mustang I'd ever own is a Fender.
