Question valve cover bolt hole depth on SBC aluminum heads ?

Anyone know how deep the 1/4-20 taped holes for the valve cover bolts are in an average set of aluminum small block heads ?

I used to know this stuff off the top of my head but after almost 20 years of marriage, two kids, etc, etc. I fear I've lost most of my mind and of course my wallet.

Thanks,

uhhhh... I would if I had a motor sitting here. I'd actually drop by dial depth gauge into the hole and be able to measure to .0001"
