Anyone have problems with MagnaFuel?

I have gone through 2 MagnaFuel ProStar 300's in 2 years. Has anyone else had issues with theirs? The first one leaked gas pretty badly after only a few days and the second one just died on me on Monday dueto the bearings seizing. These are $400 pumps and shouldn't be dieing like this... I have sent them off to Magna FUel to be repaired, but this is ridiculous.

Re: Anyone have problems with MagnaFuel?

Never seen problems with Magnafuel, we have run them on the last two race cars without a hiccup and several of our friends use them as well, I think they are pretty much considered the best electric pump out there.
Are you running a by pass or dead heading the fuel pressure? Either way I'm surprised, ask them why they failed, they should be able to give you some input on a cause.

Running the Quickstar 300 for the last 2 years (car sees track and street time) - I have the one with the pump and filter together, running the bypass. Never had a problem.
