distributor number

I bought a used distributor for my 67 rag top ( 327 / 275 hp ) but have spent two days searching the internet for the part number without luck. It is a GM distributor with part number 1112844, build date 4D29. Just curious as to what it originally came from. Thanks for your help.

Re: distributor number

From my 1970 thru 1975 Chevrolet by the Numbers book,

1974 Chevrolet point distributor, passenger, Nova, Chevelle, Camaro, Monte Carlo.

350 cu/in, 145 horsepower, standard transmission only. RFI shield above points. Vacuum advance 1973502.

For your 1967 327/275, all transmissions, you should look for 1111249.

Regards,

Milton
