69 Camaro oil pan

Is it possible to remove the oil pan from a 69 Camaro without taking out the engine?

Re: 69 Camaro oil pan

Is it a stock pan? if so Yes you can. You will have to lift the motor up alittle so you can get the pan to clear the oil pump.

It's not that hard to do. I have done this myself before I put on a bigger pan.

Re: 69 Camaro oil pan

Thank you so much for the info. I am going to remove the starter, alternator and fan. I am using holes on the heads and figure I can lift it about 2-3 inches. Do you think that will work?

Watch out for the distributor cap when you raise the engine.
