502 Gen V timeing cover question
To start This is a Gen V 502 stroked to 540, I noticed that factory it had a single roller Time chain.
During the build we used a double roller chain, Now after exhaust was installed we can hear a hollow knock, thinking it might be the pulleys We took all the front drive off ran it, still there.Motor off I then tapped around with a wrench and while tapping on the timing cover I hear about the same pitch knock, Short of pulling the cover off to inspect for any wear patterns on the back side of the cover. I wanted to ask to see if anyone has any knowledge of having to replace the factory Cover to use a double roller. lol watch it be a simple "hey stupid" it's this, well that's what I'm willing to hear
