Mechanic in CT -- engine Install

I guess this is the main problem when you have a classic car or ANY car ( in my case ) and you don't know crap about cars LOL -- Anyway, i've got a 67 rs 327/275 --- I am having the engine done over and its going to be in the low to mid 400hp range. I HAD a mechanic who was doing the work BUT we have since had a falling out. Anyway, I need someone first who's interested in instaling the enginbe back into my car. Also, if they do transmissions EVEN better ---- I've found thru this whole process that alot of people say they are interested in the work BUT when it comes around to scheduling the work ...everybody says they can't or aren't interested.

I thought the economy was bad ???

Thanks in advance !

I'm not sure where in CT you are located, but Mild to Wild on Route 34 in Orange does great work. The owner is a great guy and does fantastic work at reasonable prices. He knows Camaros inside and out. You can call them at (203) 397-3495. If you call, ask for Rocco and tell him Chris and Mary referred you.
