Engine Paint Issue

Purchased a complete fresh BB engine that has been BCCC painted to match the car it was intalled in, of course it's not Chevy orange. Will I need to remove the paint or can I paint over with the high temp engine paint?

Re: Engine Paint Issue

If the block was painted right you can scuff it with one of those 3M grill pad things and paint it. If not the paint is going to peel. But thats with any paint job. Im *** U MEing if someone took the time to BCCC on a block they did it right.
