remanufactured engines

Who provides the best remanufactured engine for my 67 rs 350? I do have a budget of around $1500 for a long block. Any suggestions?

Re: remanufactured engines

I have used Jasper re-man engines in my company vehicles and have no problems with them. They come with a 75000 mile warrenty.

There are no problems only solutions

Re: remanufactured engines

I think for 1500 the best would be you, take yours apart and take the parts down to local machine shop, get the heads done, motor bored, honed, crank cut or polished, rods checked and order a new cam, pistons, rings, seals and throw it back together. I bet you can get it done for around 1500 and end up with hp and motor that has more care put into it then any jasper crate engine.

Just take your time and read instructions. A little detail will go a long way. I built my first motor when I was 16 this way and had 35,000 on the motor before I sold it and it went another few years after that and sold again still running.

You can do it.

Re: remanufactured engines

Hi tom, X2 on the rebuilt. I found a few small blocks for sale on craigslists that were totally done for less than 1000.00 for 1500 you could get a complete 350 engine.
