Re: Need bearing id help

Brian,
I can probably cross the number in the AM at teh shop but it will not tell me if it is undersize or not. The numbers are all the same, undersize or not. You need to measure the thickness of the bearing or the size of the crankshaft to see what bearing you need. Most bearings have the undersize "printed" or "stamped" on them.

Re: Need bearing id help

Thanks and yes most quality bearings have id stamped on them but who knows what these are. Doesn't matter at this point they all the piston 1/2's on the rods are the same way.

So much for a budget build... somehow that never works for me.
