bearing ID?

i took a look at some bearings i had, and they were cleveite 77 bearings

one had the part number mb1808p, and the other had the part number mb1769p

i did a google search for them, and i found nothing, so can anyone help

They look like seprate numbers. not the set number.

they all had those numbers on them, only difference was the end caps had the 1769 number, and the others had the 1808 (or vice verse.. i dont remember)

The MB1769P is part of the "normal" small journal Chevy set, MS429P It is the thrust bearing (#5) The 1808 must be a real old number unles it is a MS1808H which is a performance bearing. It is part of the MS429H performance bearing set. Anyway, ;ooks like your usual Small Journal bearing set.

thanks, so does this mean that there are wo different bearings sets on the engine?
