Valve Cover Bolts Torque

Does anyone know what the torque setting is for the valve cover bolts on a 396?

nice and snug with a 1/4" socket on a screwdriver handle. then check it after a few heat cycles to make sure it's still snug.

you don't plan sincerity.
you have to make it up on the spot.

wanna hear about 20 years ago when i was too smart to know any better?

Like Derrik said, retorque them after fully cooled from a heat cycle.
