WP pulley rubbing on crank pulley

The heading says it all. 327 275hp with P/S, A/C. the two pulleys chirp a little when running. as perfect alignment as I can get on the belts. This chirp is getting a little annoying. 6 3/8 diameter as close as I can measure the stamped numbers on wp pulley indicated it is correct. it may be 6 1/4 hard to measure. any help?? Eric

It sounds like you have either the wrong diameter pulleys or your water pump is bad (front bearing wore out so that shaft is loose). Is this in a Camaro ? If so what year ? Short or Long Water pump ? Have you checked the numbers on the pulleys with CRG's pulley list ?

Re: WP pulley rubbing on crank pulley

OK 327 with factory pulleys. numbers are correct with CRG. new waterpump. this is in a 68RS with ps and ac. i thought maybe wrong diameter pulleys also but the numbers usually don't lie. will recheck numbers again.
