Where do I get low profile air cleaner base?

Guys, I just put a new carb and manifold in my 67, stock rs hood. I have a 2" drop low profile base that is too low, ( the bottom of the cleaner top hits the air flap on the carb ) and the 1.25" drop base I have is too high ( the cleaner top hits the hood ) so I need to get really tight on the tolerance and find one that is 1-5/8" drop... any suggestions on where I can buy a specific drop base?

Just buy some spacers (they come 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2") and raise the 2" drop air base cleaner to clear the air flap.

Can you just cut/trim the mounting flange on the base of the air cleaner drop base. If I read it right, you only need 1/8". If you are using a thick carb gasket, you can maybe get rid of it too. Or see about getting a different filter element from K&N.

Getting a different filter will work also, K&N makes a 2 1/2" round element if there's no room for your 3".
