Are you going to drag race? Street and Strip. I would do a 621 with a 11 inch clutch... I am old school though...

Re: need a bellhousing and what clutch ?

You could just use a 403 Bellhousing and zoom/centerforce clutch, as stated before street or racing?

I did the same with a 621 housing , but CFII single disc clutch and plate with a billet flywheel.

I am bidding on a 621 bellhousing on ebay, but I dont know what kind of clutch to use for it, I know i need an 11 inch and a 168th tooth flywheel.
Will be used for 95% street and a couple runs at raceway park, just to see what kind of times I can get. What are your thoughts about a scattershield opposed to a bellhousing? do you think it needs it? (425hp, 450 torque)
thanks

Yes, Mcleod is good. Didn't think of this 10 years ago when I bought the CFII for my Tri Five, switched to 700R and didnt think it would last in my camaro, sure fooled me, been there for 8 years now. I just change discs when everything is apart. .
