Good Denver machine shop?

I am looking for a good engine machine shop around the Denver area. Any recommendations?

I used Madcap in Denver about 25 years ago but I have no idea if they are even still around.

Can't help you, but I'm sure Dave at Mile High Cranks knows some of the better ones, he'll be the one that does a lot of their crank work. I'd give him a shout, helluva nice guy to know and does the best crank work of anyone I've ever known.

Thank you guys. I'll give these a try. BTW, MadCap is still around.

I'm all ears on this too, I'm nearing the point where I need some things done. Denver or Grand Junction would work for me.

Re: Good Denver machine shop?

Had a good old talk with Dave from Mile High Crankshafts. Sounds like good guy. He referred me to a couple shops in Denver. MadCap and Block Shop. I talked with the guys from Block Shop and will be taking my block to them on Monday.

Re: Good Denver machine shop?

MadCap did all the machining for our race motors years ago, I've also heard good things about the Block Shop too.
