Vacuum line routing pics needed

I have a 68 z/28 and I bought the vacuum advance line kit and I am having trouble figuring out how to route the lines. The kit includes a long hose, short hose, metal line and a fastener. I figured out the metal line fits into the carb. Is the short hose supposed to fit over the connection between the metal line and carb? I assume the long hose goes between the metal line and distributor. how does the fastener/clip fit on? does anyone have any pics that might help?

Hello
Long hose goes from distributor to the metal line, then the metal line clips with the fastener on the intake manifold (you have to remove 1 bolt and bolt the fastener there), and the small 1'' hose goes between carb and metal hose... you can see it a little bit here:

Yes. The carb end of the steel pipe inserts into the nipple on the carb base, and the short rubber hose covers that connection to seal it. Photo below is my '69Z, but it's the same as the '68.
