Is this 427 a tall deck?

Does this engine have a tall deck block?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY-427-ENGINE-CORVETTE-CAMARO-FORGED-BUILT-CRATE_W0QQitemZ350298702952QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMoto rs_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item518f6e0468

It does not say it in the EBay ad but when I talked to the seller on the phone, he was saying something about tall decks and being 0.4" higher.

Casting number 3963512 does not match a tall deck casting number.

Confused.

The picture appears to be of a standard deck.

I bought the other one he had (which is identical and has the same casting number). I just started freaking out reading the horror storries about custom headers, changing hoods, intake and distributor issues, etc.....

Thanks!!!

The best way to tell is where the water pump bolts to the block on a short deck the water pump outlets are flush with the deck. On a tall deck there is .400" above the outlets.

Thanks fiveforty.

I totally misunderstood the seller (or one of the employees at their shop). He just confirmed with an email that it is a short deck.
