What carb is on a 1967 210hp 327?

I need to rebuild or replace the carb in 1967 Camaro with a 210HP 327. Anyone have a reliable source for these, or know a reliable rebuilder? The car is all original so idealy I would like to rebuild. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

The 327/210 before building a new motor used what looked like a 2bbl Q-jet and probably was, protect-o-plate said it was a "bay city" carb, don't know if there is a difference, maybe tuning, jets, and so on...

Hummm - these were two barrels, not Q-jets

It would have been equiped with a Rochester 2GV.
These pre-68 units are often refered to as 'small base' due to a smaller base without a couple of additions on the 1968 and later bases.
It used a 'divorced' choke assembly with the termo/bi-metalic spring actuator mounted on the intake.

The application number for the carb will vary depending on the engine equipment, smaog device(s) installed and type of trans.

I would recommend the Carb Shop - http://www.thecarburetorshop.com/
They have an excellent supply of cores and can build and tune the carb you need for you.

Re: What carb is on a 1967 210hp 327?

I just pulled this system off of my car ( the two barrel 1968 code) and the intake. If you are interested, drop me a note, it is for sale. I just rebuilt the carb about a weeks prior to pulling it off the car. I thought the carb was causing a shake, turned out to be the torque converter after replacing the carb, the distributor, the plugs, wires, intake manifold pretty much everything..I planned to build a new motor so I was working that way anyway but got there sooner because of the stupid shake.. now its gone, I figure the carb is about $195 rebuilt from one of the places mentioned above, and the intake similar price but we can work something out.

Almost any good parts store will have kits, floats, ect for your carb.
I used a local rebuilder to do my card on 66 SS. My throttle shatfs were worn out and he drilled out base and installed bushing to repair
working good now and no problems at all. most of the in-box reman
carbs are JUNK! My friend bought 5 Holly-2 carbs before he got a good one and it had a whole 90 day warranty...lasted about a year
