Oil filter relocation

Does any one run a relocated oil filter?
What are good brands?
What do I need to look out for?

Re: Oil filter relocation

have run one before. kind of a pain to route the lines with headers and also using large enough line so as not to impede flow. things get tight quickly. seems like i used -12 line and a system one cleanable filter. not sure i would do it again though.

Thanks.
I am just trying to get the oil filter clear of the headers.
I think I'll just go for a shorter filter

You're best choice and most easiest.
You can use a 3 lb. coffee can to place over the headers to protect them from oil drain when filter comes off.
