Replacement O rocker

Been trying to find an O rocker to replace a missing one for my set but not having any luck even finding a loose used one from anywhere or anybody.

Is there a supplier for these where I might be able to buy just one. And yes I know about ebay, but I only want one.

Thanks

Re: replacement O rocker

Gary,
Is there a reason it has to be an "O" rocker ????? Any decent stamped steel rocker from Comp, Crane (if you can find one) etc will probably actually be a better rocker in my opinion.

I will look through my "junk" box and see if maybe there is a decent used one in there.

I am doing my DZ engine and I am missing one rocker to complete it. The O rockers are hardened I believe based on info here and CRG. I have plenty of the standard V type rocker but those aren't hardened. Not an easy item to find.

Re: Replacement O rocker

I bet some parts stores or wrecking yards would have some in an old tin can somewhere, may try there.

What is an "F" rocker... I pulled some roller tips off of a 327 that were stamped steel and had the "F" markings.

The only Mustang I'd ever own is a Fender.

Fat chance finding a high performance part like that in a salvage yard around here. That stuff is long long gone. I have been to just about every yard I can find in Delaware looking for parts for any kind of muclecar. No such animal.

Somebody has some, but just no coming off them. Rarer then hensteeth.

What does Jerry M do if he needs just one?

Re: Replacement O rocker

Our local parts store is prob from the 70's and I know of a garage that is from the same era, they have some really old interesting stuff collecting dust.
If there is one near him, maybe they have something similar...

I know that everyone here doesn't know me from Adam, but I would really appreciate the help. Is there anyone willing to help me out locating just one O rocker? Man, I hate begging.

Gary, I have 5 that I bought off a guy on line but they have some pitting in them. I was told that would'nt matter but before I used them, my engine guy found what I needed so I used those. If you want the ones I have for what I paid PM me.
