86 makeover

I have an 86 camaro that came with a 2.8L v6. About a year and a half ago the engine blew. I want to put a 350 carburated model in it but im not sure what kind of upgrades the car would need. Will the 350 bolt to the existing tranny? Will i need to replace the current rear end? And will there be a need to change out the radiator? Any input would be much appreciated.

Re: 86 makeover

Your tranny will not work. It may bolt up, but won`t last long. The rearend doesn`t have to be changed, but the factory rearend is weak. The radiator will have to be upgraded as well. You`ll need new motor mounts, but can`t really think of anything else that would need to be changed to make work.

Re: 86 makeover

Tranny wont work and the rear end will explode if making good power. You will need better cooling fans and radiator... Jeremy is right!

Re: 86 makeover

The 2.8 is fuel injected, wireing will not work with 350.
