Carburator vaccum

can someone please tell me if there is a vaccum line on the carburator and where is this line supposed to go to ? it a 327 2 barrel original engine.

see picture where my finger is pointing to carburator vaccum

Pretty sure that went to the stock aircleaner base. Just plug it if everything else works.

Maybe somebody else can correct me.

i have the stock air cleaner and nothing there to put a vac hose on,if i plug it ,it almost stalls

Where does the rubber vac hose that is bent at a 90 hook up?

If you plug it and it almost stalls, readjust the idle mixture. It's a vacuum leak that has probably been tuned around.

I have a 327 single barrel carb and manifold in storage. Mine has a short hose there that goes to the diaphragm on the choke plate. If you do not need it you can block it off and retune the carb.

That is correct - it was originally for the Choke Pull-Off diaphragm

You lines are not connected right, the line seems to go to a 'T' that is 'T'd again into another line.
Re-route to eliminate the down-stream 'T' ...
