intake manifold exhaust crossover port

Hello -

I am installing an edelbrock air gap manifold today on my 454 replacing a low profile standard edelbrock. the air gap (of course) has no exhaust crossover ports.

The gasket set i'm using (Felpro 1212) has 4 metal crossover restrictor tabs included. Should i install the metal tabs on the gaskets or is it ok to just chuck them in the trash?

Thanks,
Steve
