Timing Cover, Anyone??

I have a 94 v6. My water pump will not stay bolted to the aluminum timing cover as it is too old to hold a thread for the bolts. Re-threading with a sleeve also did not work according to the mechanic.

They are (as I am) looking for another timing cover that is in decent condition. Apparently they are discontinued & the mechanic has not been able to locate one anywhere else. Any ideas where I can find one? Been without wheels (and now a job) for a month. Any tips would be appreciated**

They're in wrecking yards and on eBain all the time - always $25 or less.
