Slight hesitation

I noticed it a while ago at low RPM say between 1500 and 2000 its like it is stumbling and once I'm through that band its great or if I rev it and go its fine. Its a SBC with a mild cam MSD ignition system demon 650 with mech sec. Timing seems fine. I went through and checked for vac leaks but am baffled as to where to look next. Any hints?

Thanks

Steve

Re: Slight hesitation

Try this link sounds like a accelerator pump could have a stretched/cracked or bad diaphragm. But this link that a member posted yesterday is vary good to check the vacuum and helps tunning.

Thanks for the link Skip. By chance was the picture of your car in front of the fountain taken at Trump National?

Re: Slight hesitation

Check the air filter--bothe size and for obstruction (too dirty)...lack of or restricted airflow into the carb will cause a similar hesitation...
