What can you tell me

about the bottom end of my motor from these pics I took when I had the oil pan off. Rods, crank, main caps????? I do not know the specs of the motor since it came with the car. I would love to figure what type of pistons but I did not see any numbers.

Re: What can you tell me

Rods and crank look stock. Crank is a steel one. Pistons look like older TRW forgings. Cant tell which ones without seeing the tops. You might be able to look through the spark plug hole and see if they are flat tops or if they have a dome on them.

Got a borescope for me??? Lol need to check my main bolt numbers.

The crank and rods are definitely cast and look stock. Its a four bolt block so the block is good for some ponies. As for pistons no idea, not sure a scope will fit in the sparkplug hole unless you got a pretty expensive one.

Top of the pistons look exactly like these. Any idea what CR they are from this pic? And if I have 64 cc heads what would my total CR be?
