I have not been on for a while, but still been working on the car. Engine is in, trans will be installed in the next hour. Have a dumb question that maybe someone has already had experience with.I ordered from AMK new bolt kit for the connection of the 327 motor to the Powerglide. They are all the correct size, I am not sure about the markings but did not really care at this location. The part number is G-4787 and has 9 items in it:4 - Short Bolts2 - Longer Bolts (these go on the lowest spot on each side)1 - Flat Washer2 - Lock WashersUnless someone pipes back real fast, I am probably not going to put these washers in the correct location. But, here is my questions:WHY ONLY 3 WASHERS FOR 6 BOLTS??AMK usually does the correct thing and I am having NO thoughts on this concept. The kick down linkage probally didn't use washers, and dipstick tube either, my guess??

So you don't think the washers are for the 6 bolts that mount the trans to the motor??? Knowing how AMK marks and what they put in the bag, I was feeling confident that they were for the BOLTS to the MOTOR.

Yes that is what I was "talking" about, the bellhousing bolts, three of them hold other
items on also.

The other 3 Bolts will use washers associated with the Transmission Filler Tube, Solenoid Wire Bracket and possibly the Engine to Cowl Ground Strap.

Don't put to much confidents in AMK. When you mount your emblems the nuts may be to small for the emblem studs and there were only 10 nuts in the package to hold the taillights in that having 12 studs. They make mistakes but what the guys are saying about the bell housing bolts and washers sounds right.

M35 A4 in the AIM shows two lock washers on the kickdown linkage bolts. I don't see any flats but I'd put it on the bolt through the filler tube.
