Shorty spark plug

Guys thanks for all your help with previous questions. One last thing to get the car running (I hope). The car (1968 350 sbc) had R45TS plugs in it. Changed all of them. Had clearance issues with one plug. The new plugs are slightly longer than the old ones (from other websites I learned they were redisigned by AC Delco in 2006 and are slightly longer). Now that difference means I can't get the new plug in the tight spot. I'm going to go with a shorty plug and from searches found that the equivalent (I think) would be an Accel 0576S. I just need conformation on two questions before I go buy some plugs.
1) Is the Accel plug the correct one?
2) Can I just use the Accel plug in that one spot, keeping the new AC's I've already changed? Will that cause problems? Should I just get 8 Accels and change them all (again)?

Sorry for the lengthy post, and thanks in advance for your help!!!
