Long water Pump Heater bypass

Quick question. There were some other posts, but I could not follow the answer. I'm just putting the finishing touches on a new zz383. I am not running a heater on the car yet. I need to know what I can cap off or what I need to run with hoses. My old engine ran a hose from 1 to 4. Do I have to do this or can I cap everything, also port 3 is a new one for me, what is this for? Thanks a bunch.

Plug them all if you don't need a coolant temp.
