AC Delco part#

hi all i just converted to pertronixs ign and all is well,this morning i put new rotor part ACD#D426R GM#12338671 and distributor cap part ACD#D308R GM#12363081. Then i started my car and it ran like sh$$$$t barly idled, then put back old parts distributor and rotor and runs perfect,did the give me the proper parts,does anyone have these part numbers that are correct for a stock 1967 327 2bbl carb.THANKS GARY

D308R and D426R are as correct as you're gonna get. Those numbers supercede the original D308 (cap) and D409 (rotor) that were used through the end of 1968. Who knows what the quality, or lack of, the parts are today. Personally, I like to buy nos older parts off of ebay rather than using current production stuff.

Get a performace cap and rotor from accel. Or get one with gold contacts instead of steel. Any brand cap and rotor for small block chevy will work.
