268 cam valve clearance

Will I have PTV clearance problems with this cam and flat top pistons? .477in , .480ex. I installed it to factory specs, but the cam has a 4* advance built into the grind of the cam. Thanks

Re: 268 cam valve clearance

Tino,
You shouldnt, but also depends on which valves are in your heads. 2.02 intakes start to get pretty close at .500" lift

Re: 268 cam valve clearance

Thanks for the reply. Right now I have the 1.94/1.50 valves. That makes me feel better before I start the car.

Re: 268 cam valve clearance

Double check that your timing chain set is 100% correct.
I have 2.05" and ,538" lift with more duration and no clearence issues.
