Big Block Fame Mounts and engine Mounts

I am having trouble lately with getting BB engines to mount in 69's without drilling, enlarging mount holes on both engine mounts and frame mounts. Are there more than one BB engine mount? I have NOS BB frame mounts and am having the same problems. It seems that the problem is the engine mounts. Have any of you had these problems? Thanks for any input.

Re: Big Block Fame Mounts and engine Mounts

Got any pics and part numbers? The mounts should be a tight fit on the stands.

Anchor #2283 are correct for a 69 and are about 2-3/8" wide from what I remember.

If the engine mounts are loose you probably have the wrong part #.

Re: Big Block Fame Mounts and engine Mounts

I went to a local parts store and bought some Federated brand and the fit perfect. Bolts slide in by hand. I bought 4 sets. They beat any I have bought from the restoration parts places.
