i have in my 67 350 ci with edelbrock alum heads which calls for plugs with a reach that will be long enough so they dont spark off the head and i am using the A/C Delco 41-627 but i am burning my ignition wires on my headers i put the boots on but they are burning and turning white and starting to come a part , i want to find a shory spark plug that has the reach i need and short i dont know if there is one ? does anyone have any sugestions?
NGK's are about 1/8" longer than the Accel Shorty header plugs. I run NGK's.
NGK FR4 and Accel 0416S (shorty) are about the same heat range as the RC12. NGK FR5 is a little cooler. Both NGK's are a projected tip which stays cleaner than the Accels. The cooler FR5's actually stay cleaner in mine than the 0416S did. These are 3/4" reach gasket seat plugs.
