Difference in valve spring pressure. How big of a deal?

Summit cam k03052 adv 272/272 216/216 @ .050 .515/.515 lift 110 lsa.
The springs I have are 391 open pressure, while the recommended springs have 375 pressure. Do those 16 lbs matter?

i 2nd that--on solid lift cames-it doesnt hurt any to have a little more--16 lbs on a hyd would be fine too--20 or 30 more on a hyd may become a isssue

If these are dual springs and you have a new cam, It might be a good idea to break in cam with only the inner springs to keep from burning lobes . Just my 2Ę

Kelly,
I guess you have to go with what the cam manufacturer says, but in my opinion anything much over 325 lbs open on a non roller cam is just asking to wipe a lobe. 391 is over the edge.

Maybe on a race only deal where you dont care about it lasting, but on the street you dont need it.

Just my opinion,
