Is there a problem, If so what is it?

Opened the hood today and saw what appears to be gas on the top of the intake. What would cause this? Why is it that once you get everything fixed something else goes wrong? I wish it would just stay fixed!!

Thanks for the help!

Not sure about the fuel bowls being tight. I just had the carb off and the guy who built my motor jetted it down. I don't think the fuel bowls were messed with. It is wet on the front and down the whole sides to where the bolts hold it to the block?

I believe if they jetted it down they had to remove the fuel bowls to get to the metering block...

Try tightening the fuel bowls.. The four bolts in the picture... Sometimes the cork gasket tear or pinch...

Try tightening it...it should stop the leak.. Worst case you pick up a gasket..they do make a gasket that can be reused over and over..if you need to be changing the jets often..

Start it and see where it is leaking. Watch the fuel supply line connections very close. Some of them are very poorly made and just will not seal.
