SBC 400 Heads, compatible with??

Hey everyone, there's a guy near me with a set of "400 small block heads" for sale, but doesn't actually know what the application is. Can't help but think these are off of an early Pontiac and they aren't compatible with my 69 Camaro 350 block. Still trying to get casting numbers.

Re: SBC 400 Heads, compatible with??

If they are SBC 400 they are compatible with any SBC (not an ls of course..)
They are only different in that if they are factory they have steam holes in them between the cylinders on both banks.
But if they are factory items they are not worth much, they are going to be really low compression on a 350, and they definitely not a preformance head.
If they are aftermarket heads then you'll have to look and see.
