When converting a 327 to a 350, can I use energy suspension mounts and if so , what numbers are best to use?? I have read many confusing threads!!! Thanks!!

Re: 327 engine mounts

It all depends on which frame stands you have, that's the most important thing in which motor mounts are correct, look here

Re: 327 engine mounts

I pulled my 307 out of my 1969 Camaro and will use the same motor mounts and frame stands on my newly built 350. Mine are factory GM, I do not know about aftermarket mounts. Thanks, Jerod

If your new 350 has the thick 8" balancer, you may have a clearance problem to the sway bar using the 307/327 mounts and frame stands.

Smile Re: 327 engine mounts

It really doesn't matter which mounts you use. If you have a 350 with the large balancer, by using the 302/350 mounts they will only clear a STOCK sway bar. If your sway bar is larger than stock you will have to shim the sway bar down anyway.
