When I accelerate it hesitates somewere in second gear, and when I accelerate more it start to run fine again.

Re: Sb 350 carb or ignition problem.

I would check the timing, mech and vac. advance and dwell first since these are the easiest to measure. If all that checks out, then I would see if the accel pump is working correctly.

69 SS, 350/300 h.p., M-20, 12 bolt, matching numbers.

Re: Sb 350 carb or ignition problem.

What rpms ?
Check accel pump, float level and crap in the float valve, 1st..easest.
I assume its HEI??
If not as above..routine check dwell....
Which with pionts can be checked by checking timing...If the timing has changes its usually because of wear on pionts and dwell is out.
Check at night in the dark for Leaks in HT leads
Clean dizzy cap and rotor

Or Simply put, a routine 6 monthly maintance check.

power valve is wrong or shot-remove and inspect--take your vacuam at idle subtract 6.5 and you will be close enough on the number on power valve-then double chek timing and advance curve

yep thats the next bit...make sure u have spare gaskets, and give the new ones a light smear of oil...that way they will not break /pull apart/stick next time.
