Comp Cams 3 piece timing cover ?

Hi

Is anyone running this cover witha 1 piece Felpro pan gasket ? It looks to me like it barely seals on the cover to pan area ?

If its the same as the Cloyes cover, they will work with a one piece oil pan gasket.

I have a cloyes and one piece felpro blue gasket.

I ran this combo on a big block and it worked fine. Don't know about the small block.

I oiled the gear drive then put cover fronts on and oil ran out the btm between pan and gasket ? Moroso 7 qrt pan and it worked before with the Cloyes cover that uses a wide frt gasket ! So now what I'm confused ?
