Clutch Fan Damper Spring Swap

Does anyone know how to transfer a damper spring from one damper to another? I want to transfer the spring from the damper on the right to the damper on the left. It appears that the spring has a small weld or solder holding it in place i the centre and that is all.

How did you get a clutch without a spring anyways?

Re: Clutch Fan Damper Spring Swap

Thats is how they both came. I have since found an NOS complete unit I will be using instead. The one on the right is an original survivor piece. The one on the left is a repop missing the spring.

The ball of stuff? What's that in English terms?
