It is easy to tell if you are getting fuel in your oil. Just pull the dip stick. The oil will be thinner, the level will be higher, and it will smell like gas. This happens more with stock style pumps , rather than the ones with a replaceable diaphragm. I have seen it happen two times, which doesn't sound like much, but there are millions of those pumps in use. Think of a drumstick hitting a drum in the same spot for thousands of times each time it is used. I have seen engines blow with a leaky NOS solenoids too.
