Great find, Doug. I stopped using the "red filters" a while back. Just grabbing a good paper filter every third or fourth oil change is what I've been doing and it's good to know that the peace of mind I got from that is validated.

Now how many times over the yrs have I mentioned "marketing propaganda"and fancy names chosen to entice further... like patriot, fast burn type names.. then add to the colours of the packaging.
The 2 ppl who reconised the power of marketing and propaganda are Wrigglies gum and Goebbels in Germany, and today both of these are still studied when training in marketing.
