New LS3 EROD or used?

Need some help here cause from what I can tell it seems to make more sense for my CA 68 RS Conv to buy a new LS3 EROD versus look for a used motor. Am I off base? Not really seeing the benefits of used here.

Re: New LS3 EROD or used?

For the $$$$$ I would go used and rebuild (mileage dependent) there are pull-out motors out there also.
If you're not into parts hunting, it may be the deal you want going GM-new.

Do NOT go with the GM hot rod hangs about 2" below the crossmember

Any LS with a cam (and maybe springs depending on cam) will really wakeup an LS.

You may get lucky and find a low mileage wreck too ??
