rebuilding BB 781s, 11/32 valves worth it?

Or also under cut stems for a street motor that'll see 6000 and under? This'll go on my 496 I'm building up. 10 or 10.5 CR street motor.
Going 1.88 and 2.19 for sure. Can a 2.2 fit on the old 781s?
Havent called my machine shop yet, wanted to ask here first for ideas.

Absolutely. The 11/32 stem valves with undercut stems are dirt cheap. About $140 for a complete set.

BBC valves are very heavy and you need the lightest ones that are practical.

I didn't think about the cost of replacing the valve guides. That could up the cost a bunch.

Have you looked at aftermarket heads ?

Yes, but not in budget currently. I have the 781s and a good 454 block sitting on garage floor just screaming at me to do something with them.
Guides will have to be done. Valve seats obviously will need to be done. cc'd them and they did come to 119. I did some backyard porting and cc cleaning up and I figured with the bigger and maybe lighter valves they'll perform a bit better than stock. If so, I'll figure that a win for me.
