Question Oil filters

Guys, with all the "downsizing" of oil filters what are you using? Has anyone cut open a classic PF25? Thanks.

Re: Oil filters

I been sticking with good ol' ACDelco.
I did find that the one for my old '05 2500HD 6.0L and the '06 Trailblazer V6 interchanged...funny thing was that the V6 filter was longer

Now with the LS in the Camaro...looking again at interchanges.

Re: Oil filters

AC Delco is made real cheap today due to made in China tin. IMO it's JUNK.
I'm using a Wix Napa Gold 1061 (no drain back valve) which is real close to the a AC Delco PF35.

Re: Oil filters

I run NAPA Gold (Wix) in all my vehicles, use # 1069 on the Camaro. A little tight with the headers and 7qt oil pan just makes changes more interesting.

Re: Oil filters

After reading a very long study I have used K & N or Mobil One filters. I can't find the study now. A little more money but no problems on five vehicles. Except for the Truck and Impala the others not driven much.
