carb linkage

i have a 700r4 trans connected to a bbc with the stock throttle rod.the tv cable wont work right with this set up.is there an easy way to convert to a cable for the throttle rather than the rod?

You should be able to get the throttle rod to work with the TV cable. Mine does.

You can use stock 6 cylinder parts for a stock cable or you can use Lokar cables etc.

BBC, 700R4 with Lokar cables, bracket, springs, and gas pedal.

Works great.
