Holley electric choke converison

I am considering the below conversion kit for my 750 DP

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hl...t-number/r4779

What is the best source for the 12 volt, given that the "ign" terminal on the fuse block is already in use elsewhere?

Re: Holley electric choke converison

You could use a 3 way adapter on the same terminal.

I ditched my coke all together but, I remember the electric choke was run direct to "ign fused". this is on a 67.

Whoops, just reread that yours it occupied, I guess you could tap off that circuit somewhere or use that adapter Don posted.

I don't use a choke cause I don't want the extra fuel down the cyl walls.

Re: Holley electric choke converison

I have a manual choke now, which is not connected since I re-did the interior. Basically, it's all there, but no way to operate it. My only issue is that when the weather is not 75 or above, I have to "baby sit" the car until it warms up enough to idle o its own...depending upon the outside temp, that can sometimes take 5-7 minutes...

It's a cold-blooded animal!

Thought it would be nice to be able to start it, load it up while it is warming up, then get in and go!
