327 headers?

Hello,

Does anyone suggest a brand or type of headers for a flat top 327 with entry level Eldelbrock aluminum heads? Thanks for your time.

Re: 327 headers?

I have a set of Hedman headers and they're very well fabricated IMO. I originally bought them for my first Camaro which had a 350, but will be using them with my second '67 RS with a 327 and RHS heads.

Relax, all right? My dad's a TV repairman, got an ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

I have a 327 with edelbrock e-street heads. It has 350 frame stands and mounts. My Hooker headers fit great. Hooker has changed their headers now, so I am unsure of the fit. I would recommend Dynatech Headers if on 350 stands or Summit Brand headers on the 327 frame stands.

69 Camaro -originally a LM1 car. 327, Edelbrock E-streets, hooker, DUI performance distributors, ultradyne cam, stewart, TRW etc. Vintage Air, AGR steering, Corbeau GTSII seats, 700R4 transmission, 12-bolt w/Eaton 4.11:1

Re: 327 headers?

Thorley Tri-Ys get my vote (Summit has them). I have had them on my last 2 first gens and they fit great. One was a 69 manual trans and the current is a 68 auto that formerly had a 327 and now has a 350 with flat top pistons. They do not hang down at all so no speed bump problems.

68 RS Coupe 355/350 TH, Detroit Speed, Hotchkis, Vintage Air, 8.5" 3.42 posi 10-bolt, MagnaFlow 2 1/2" exhaust, etc.
